The creative minds behind the comedy hit of the summer This is the End are already forming two new projects including a sequel to their summer hit. Evan Goldberg's and Seth Rogen's career may be getting a boost from their latest film, with the critical success of This is the End it seems Goldberg has an idea for a sequel. If you've seen the film you may ask, How, it ended so definitely, well the idea may suggest otherwise. It is said to be at the premiere of the first This is the End which after all is just a movie, and will feature more characters and famous actors. If you have read my review or seen the film you know (Spoiler!) that most of the characters died in the party scene, with the exception of all the main guys. Further details that emerged told that it would create longer appearances for (a gay) Michael Cera, Rihanna,
and (Spoiler!) the Backstreet Boys. Also it would appear that Seth Rogen would be the coke head instead of Michael Cera. Evan Goldberg has not confirmed the project as green lit because of Rogen's against it,but Evan went on to say there is a good chance of it happening with all the guys back even Seth.
Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen have already green lit one of their other projects with the one of the stars of This is The End, James Franco. It follows Franco, a famed talk show host, who somehow gets an interview with North Korean dictator Kim Jon Un with his producer who is portrayed by Rogen. The CIA then pursues them and hires them to kill the North Korean prime minister. Another veteran writer is joining Rogen and Goldberg, it is Dan Sterling from the Daily Show. Although the projects have begun to get into development Rogen's The Interview will most likely be made sooner with all the hype on North Korea in the news and because he's against This is the End 2 for now.
First Impressions: This is the End 2- I loved the first one and they could do so many things to make this funnier by adding teen celebrities and people visiting the premiere.
The Interview- Okay this one will definitely be rated R. I will most likely be seeing this one too but I am a little afraid on what they will do. They will most likely push the limit.
