The Neighbors Season 2 Season premiere "Family Conference" Review

I know this show was absolutely terrible when it started last year, but for some reason the first two episodes provided at least one fresh laugh that made me come back for more. And I'm glad I did I was as shocked as most of you were when it got a second season but I was glad and now here comes season 2. I noticed during the premiere the writing was way better then the first season and now I laugh openly at the hilarious families living next door. They make remarks about TV and it breaks the 4th wall. I understand iit was a little cheesy but this episode not only held laughs but also a little bit of heart. I beg you please tune in next week or watch the previous episodes on Hulu. The potential has been reached.

The Verdict: More Funny then ever. Original and a great premiere.10/10
+Breaking the 4th Wall
+Amber and Reggie
+Jerry Springer
+The actual Conference
+Funny as Hell
+Better Writing
+Emmy Nominated
+Sticking with the show payed off
+Quirky/Cultish

Ironside Pilot Review

My expectations were originally high, but after hearing some negative things about it I lowered it to my mid expectation list. It met my new expectations easily. It was edgy and violent while it also provided an interesting twist at the end that I didn't see coming. The idea is a remake is brought around a different darker way which works in the setting of the modern world. It was well acted and at times emotionally powerful, because of the characters ability to make these complex emotions of something that didn't really happen. Overall a great show on the cusp of excellence.

The Verdict: Although slow at time Ironside is carried by Blair Underwood's performance and an interesting story. An almost definite appointment watch. 8/10
+Blair Underwood
+Twist
+Mind games/emotions
+Dark humor
+Idea
-Slow pacing

Welcome to the Family Pilot Review

The NBC comedy season starts off with an adequate comedy good enough for it's network. I liked The New Normal last year unfortunately to boycotts it was cancelled, this show seems like it's trying to copy the dysfunctional unique family dynamic. Although it does have a great concept they can build on and a star to attract people(Mike O' Malley) the show still struggles to preform strongly. It was very weakly written. Unlike ABC's fall comedies it wasn't laugh out loud, which I love when looking for comedies. I won't be checking in as regularly for this series but maybe watch the second episode just to see where it goes.

The Verdict: Despite it's potential,Welcome to the Family falls way short of all of ABC's comedies. 5/10
+Mike O'Malley
-Script
+Plot potential
-Clumsy
-Not a great pilot
-Predictable
-Not laugh out loud
+/-It's funny and then it's not

Trophy Wife, Pilot Review

At first when I heard about this in January, I thought it would be the next Malibu Country, but then the trailer hit and it won me over. But did the pilot live up to the trailer's high standards? It's not often that a pilot wins me over in the first two minutes, but this one did. This is one of the best pilots I have ever seen. My hope were high after the trailer, and it somehow exceeded them making myself laugh out loud, a lot. Like the Goldbergs it didn't ruin lots of it's laughs in the trailer, but it added to them. The chaos cause was perfectly handled by the director and co-writers. This could be the new Modern Family.

The Verdict: A definite appointment viewing show that I will even go as far as to watch the pilot again in two weeks. Great job ABC! 9.5/10
+Funny!
+Malin Akerman's and Bradley Whitford's chemistry
+All likable characters
+Equally spread character time
+The kids
+Chaos
-The only flaw I see is it seems a little short, but it really isn't

Back in the Game, Pilot Review

I am a sucker for baseball! But this still won't make appointment viewing like The Goldbergs. A few jokes hit the spot and make me laugh out loud but others just make you go wow, that is just terrible. Maggie Lawson is the prevailing actress in the show and proves to be both attractive and funny. Caan feels like a nuisance that may become a great role. I admit I had my doubts with the show and I still do, but it still provides laughs.

The Verdict: Maggie Lawson is funny and attractive in the main role, but there are a lot of kinks that won't make me a regular viewer. 6.5/10
+Jokes
-Jokes
+Maggie Lawson
+/-James Caan
+The misfit team
+/-Not great plot, but I love baseball
-Forced

The Goldbergs Pilot Review

The Goldbergs is funny, I'll give it that, but it still has a few flaws. I think it just stops short of a great pilot, but does there have to be so much yelling. Regardless, the episode supplies tons of laughs from Wendi McLendon-Covey, Sean Giambrone, and George Seagal. Although the story ends pretty quickly, the Goldbergs has a sentimental touch that I could come back to every week. With the multiple 80's references and Jeff Garlin it is a great pilot with a lot of yelling.

The Verdict: Despite the yelling, the pilot turns out to be a welcome back to your typical 80's show. I hope you will enjoy as well. 7.8/10
-Too much YELLING!
+Great performances
+Sentimental touch
-Story wrapped up too quickly
+/-Some jokes hit others don't
+Laugh out loud
+80's references
+Likable characters

Trailer Review: Antboy Official Trailer #1 (2013) - Danish Superhero Movie HD

The Danish Superhero movie Antboy looks okay. The first half really pulled me in and after the call to  his mom, it all went down. The B movie effects proved to be annoying. Overall the trailer looks appealing but more like a lesser version of Spider-man.. C-

Avengers: Age of Ultron and the Guardians of the Galaxy actors!

Marvel is no longer casting unknowns. Among the names added to the casts of both Avengers: AOU and The Guardians of the Galaxy are Bradley Cooper, James Spader, Vin Diesel, Aaron Taylor Johnson, and Elizabeth Olsen. This has accumulated over the weeks and I like their castings. I think Diesel is a great choice for Groot and Spader for Ultron. Although I'm shaky on all the other castings I feel that I can trust Marvel right now. They've transformed every actor they have into a star. Although these people are already A-listers this could expand their popularity even more. Olsen and Johnson are the least known so they will most likely become superstars as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Rounding out the bunch was Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon another one I may need to trust Marvel.

Trailer Review: Neighbors (2014) Red Band Trailer

The successor for This is the End and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Nicolas Stroller (director) and actor Seth Rogen now return with and even bigger band of characters. The trailer got me on so little too! I loved This is the End so this is great, but the fact that pulls me in is the addition of Disney star, Zac Efron. I believe this could be his breakout film that could catapult him into adult comedies and dramas, not just romances and children films. Great trailer especially the condom part. A+

Doctor Who Intro Feat. Peter Capaldi 2014 Titles -- NeonVisual - Loan M...

This intro is literally amazing any Whovian should watch it and share it so the guy and company that made this get full credibility and maybe a spot in next year's opener. I am usually a skeptic to credits made by fans but this is by far the best credits I have ever seen. The opener makes you want to watch both the show and the credits. This is also like a mix of all of them. A+ Share Please this is by Xandercom.tv on YouTube. Here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/user/xandercom?feature=watch. Read more about how and why he made the credits there as well. I desperately want  these, those guys need our support. BBC needs to see!

Bendict Cumberbatch allegedly cast in Star Wars VII

That's right, the Sherlock, Fifth Estate, Hobbit, Star Trek, 12 Years a Slave, and War Horse actor is set for his close up in the upcoming Star Wars VII. Films Chronicles leaked the news to the press today. You can trust their sources because they believe in news more then rumor. Honestly he's the perfect type for the roles leaked this summer. I wasn't thinking of him at all, but now that the rumor(probably true, I'll explain why in a second) has had time to sink into my mind there hasn't been a single flop for him, critically. With his upcoming films, The Fifth Estate, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Twelve Years a Slave he is sure to please me even more. Now if you look back all the way to late 2012 when the news broke of Star Wars VII promoting Star Trek Into Darkness, Cumberbatch said that he was interested in a role.Total Film reported that "He had Star Wars closer too his heart, it influenced him as a kid." Whether or not this is true is still a mystery, but a very intriguing detail is left open. Cumberbatch dropped out of Del Toro's Crimson Peak which happens to be, now that we know the production dates for Star Wars VII, filming at the same time. Guillermo is a great director and writer it's hard to pass up a film with him. That begs the question, Is he really in Star Wars VII? Star Wars VII is a bigger deal so I could imagine him dropping out for his childhood dream.

What do you think of him  being cast? Comment below and follow me on this blog, Blogbuster411, http://blogbuster411.blogspot.com/. Bookmark my page for more. Star Wars VII is set for 2015, possibly Christmas or late December.
