Ironside Pilot Review
My expectations were originally high, but after hearing some negative things about it I lowered it to my mid expectation list. It met my new expectations easily. It was edgy and violent while it also provided an interesting twist at the end that I didn't see coming. The idea is a remake is brought around a different darker way which works in the setting of the modern world. It was well acted and at times emotionally powerful, because of the characters ability to make these complex emotions of something that didn't really happen. Overall a great show on the cusp of excellence.
The Verdict: Although slow at time Ironside is carried by Blair Underwood's performance and an interesting story. An almost definite appointment watch. 8/10
+Blair Underwood

Welcome to the Family Pilot Review
The NBC comedy season starts off with an adequate comedy good enough for it's network. I liked The New Normal last year unfortunately to boycotts it was cancelled, this show seems like it's trying to copy the dysfunctional unique family dynamic. Although it does have a great concept they can build on and a star to attract people(Mike O' Malley) the show still struggles to preform strongly. It was very weakly written. Unlike ABC's fall comedies it wasn't laugh out loud, which I love when looking for comedies. I won't be checking in as regularly for this series but maybe watch the second episode just to see where it goes.
The Verdict: Despite it's potential,Welcome to the Family falls way short of all of ABC's comedies. 5/10
+Mike O'Malley
-Script
+Plot potential
-Clumsy
-Not a great pilot
-Predictable
-Not laugh out loud

Trophy Wife, Pilot Review
At first when I heard about this in January, I thought it would be the next Malibu Country, but then the trailer hit and it won me over. But did the pilot live up to the trailer's high standards? It's not often that a pilot wins me over in the first two minutes, but this one did. This is one of the best pilots I have ever seen. My hope were high after the trailer, and it somehow exceeded them making myself laugh out loud, a lot. Like the Goldbergs it didn't ruin lots of it's laughs in the trailer, but it added to them. The chaos cause was perfectly handled by the director and co-writers. This could be the new Modern Family.
The Verdict: A definite appointment viewing show that I will even go as far as to watch the pilot again in two weeks. Great job ABC! 9.5/10
+Funny!
+Malin Akerman's and Bradley Whitford's chemistry
+All likable characters
+Equally spread character time

+Chaos
-The only flaw I see is it seems a little short, but it really isn't

Back in the Game, Pilot Review
I am a sucker for baseball! But this still won't make appointment viewing like The Goldbergs. A few jokes hit the spot and make me laugh out loud but others just make you go wow, that is just terrible. Maggie Lawson is the prevailing actress in the show and proves to be both attractive and funny. Caan feels like a nuisance that may become a great role. I admit I had my doubts with the show and I still do, but it still provides laughs.
The Verdict: Maggie Lawson is funny and attractive in the main role, but there are a lot of kinks that won't make me a regular viewer. 6.5/10

The Goldbergs Pilot Review
The Goldbergs is funny, I'll give it that, but it still has a few flaws. I think it just stops short of a great pilot, but does there have to be so much yelling. Regardless, the episode supplies tons of laughs from Wendi McLendon-Covey, Sean Giambrone, and George Seagal. Although the story ends pretty quickly, the Goldbergs has a sentimental touch that I could come back to every week. With the multiple 80's references and Jeff Garlin it is a great pilot with a lot of yelling.
The Verdict: Despite the yelling, the pilot turns out to be a welcome back to your typical 80's show. I hope you will enjoy as well. 7.8/10
-Too much YELLING!
+Great performances
+Sentimental touch
-Story wrapped up too quickly
+/-Some jokes hit others don't

Trailer Review: Antboy Official Trailer #1 (2013) - Danish Superhero Movie HD
The Danish Superhero movie Antboy looks okay. The first half really pulled me in and after the call to his mom, it all went down. The B movie effects proved to be annoying. Overall the trailer looks appealing but more like a lesser version of Spider-man.. C-

Avengers: Age of Ultron and the Guardians of the Galaxy actors!
Marvel is no longer casting unknowns. Among the names added to the casts of both Avengers: AOU and The Guardians of the Galaxy are Bradley Cooper, James Spader, Vin Diesel, Aaron Taylor Johnson, and Elizabeth Olsen. This has accumulated over the weeks and I like their castings. I think Diesel is a great choice for Groot and Spader for Ultron. Although I'm shaky on all the other castings I feel that I can trust Marvel right now. They've transformed every actor they have into a star. Although these people are already A-listers this could expand their popularity even more. Olsen and Johnson are the least known so they will most likely become superstars as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Rounding out the bunch was Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon another one I may need to trust Marvel.

Trailer Review: Neighbors (2014) Red Band Trailer
The successor for This is the End and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Nicolas Stroller (director) and actor Seth Rogen now return with and even bigger band of characters. The trailer got me on so little too! I loved This is the End so this is great, but the fact that pulls me in is the addition of Disney star, Zac Efron. I believe this could be his breakout film that could catapult him into adult comedies and dramas, not just romances and children films. Great trailer especially the condom part. A+

This intro is literally amazing any Whovian should watch it and share it so the guy and company that made this get full credibility and maybe a spot in next year's opener. Bendict Cumberbatch allegedly cast in Star Wars VII
That's right, the Sherlock, Fifth Estate, Hobbit, Star Trek, 12 Years a Slave, and War Horse actor is set for his close up in the upcoming Star Wars VII. Films Chronicles leaked the news to the press today. You can trust their sources because they believe in news more then rumor. Honestly he's the perfect type for the roles leaked this summer. I wasn't thinking of him at all, but now that the rumor(probably true, I'll explain why in a second) has had time to sink into my mind there hasn't been a single flop for him, critically. With his upcoming films, The Fifth Estate, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Twelve Years a Slave he is sure to please me even more. Now if you look back all the way to late 2012 when the news broke of Star Wars VII promoting Star Trek Into Darkness, Cumberbatch said that he was interested in a role.Total Film reported that "He had Star Wars closer too his heart, it influenced him as a kid." Whether or not this is true is still a mystery, but a very intriguing detail is left open. Cumberbatch dropped out of Del Toro's Crimson Peak which happens to be, now that we know the production dates for Star Wars VII, filming at the same time. Guillermo is a great director and writer it's hard to pass up a film with him. That begs the question, Is he really in Star Wars VII? Star Wars VII is a bigger deal so I could imagine him dropping out for his childhood dream.

Vin Diesel two roles in the MCU?
In a recent interview The Hollywood Reporter Vin Diesel revealed a possible second role in the Marvel universe. Here's a link: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/vin-diesel-groot-guardians-galaxy-615110. Who is he? Diesel explained he was up for a role in the third phase when the fans kept nagging him for the answer. Disney and Marvel knew he didn't have the room in his schedule until 2016 so after all the speculation decided to give Diesel the small role of Groot that wouldn't take his time over. He's a great choice if you've seen the Iron Giant. As to who else he could be playing that is unknown, but I am here to speculate. I could imagine many roles for Diesel to play, but the ones that stand out to me the most are the supposed Vision role or even the role of Cable. Other speculated phase three films he could be involved in are Ant-Man(doubtful), Doctor Strange or even Black Panther(Hopefully not the Black Panther). We all Diesel has his specific voice and films. His characters are badass, and sometimes unemotional even though he is a good actor. I think Vision would fit him well, but the robot style is not great for him. The Black Panther movie if he is showcased in, I would suspect he'd be a villain. If you've seen the comics and TV shows he'd fit perfectly in that as well. Even though Cable hasn't been announced or even mentioned at all, if he was Cable I would imagine a very badass emotional role he could play. His time travelling would work well with audience. I could confirm this would be standalone from the Avengers films, but it would be very, very entertaining.

Star Wars 7 news
After a blast of news from DC and Warner Brothers last week with Ben Affleck's, Disney has stuck their hand in the pot with Star Wars 7 news as well as a lot of Marvel news(we'll get to that later!). I'm very ecstatic that Disney is taking their time on this, planning on a Christmas 2015 release. The date is farther then I would have liked, but to get the quality needed for this is making me feel more comfortable about Disney handling it's future. Other news include it would be filmed on actual film just like the original trilogy meaning more hard work for the editors and director. This is good for the most part, but I think they should really just go with Digital it would be a little less time consuming. Finally they announced the very specific start date for it's filming(production), January 21, 2014. They must be planning on announcing not only the cast, but the plot points for the new film in the upcoming months because let's face it this is one of the most beloved film franchises and all the news sources(including me) are probably going to get their hands on it eventually. No secret can be kept forever, Disney. However, I'm surprised it has been kept a secret for this long, it must be like a government secret(via South Park). I'm sure new news is coming soon!

Ben Affleck is Batman! My opinion and more!
I know it's a bit late but Ben Affleck is the new Batman! I honestly think he's a great actor, but I'm not sure if he'd be right for the role. Affleck in my opinion does a lot of Oscar winning work, but Batman has only been nominated once for Best Picture. Honestly when he was cast for the role I was more surprised then anything when they made the announcement. I expected it to be a Karl Urban announcement even later in this year. I have heard mixed opinions on this but I think the Argo star deserves a mention here. His performance was intense and he preforms well under pressure which will fit well with Batman. He's not my choice, but I'll give him a shot. In addition Affleck is also signed for a few more Batman film as well which will give me a better opinion on his acting as Batman.

Super Fan Saturday: Back to the Future + next week's Predictions 8/30/13
Let's start with my super fandom! Everybody that lived in this time period and even after knows what this movie is. I think it is a masterpiece in cinema. The film has succeeded in making people laugh and people stare at the big screen in amazement. Time travel was not a popular topic until this film reached the heights in both box office and critical ratings. The visuals still live up to today and so does the weirdly funny script. I love BTF.

2. One Direction This is Us 15 million
3. The World's End 9 million

Top 10 films of 2013 so far (in my opinion)
After last night's viewing of The World's End, I have decided to compile my top 10 movies so far of 2013. It is half way through the year and almost Oscar season so here it is:
HM RED 2- RED 2 was better then the first but not the best movie of the year.
10. (tie) Olympus has Fallen/ The Hangover Part III/ Warm Bodies- Now I may have a three way tie between these three but believe it or not I enjoyed myself during every one of them.
9. World War Z- Silly, smart, and a film trying to be horrifying.
8. Monsters University- The best Pixar entry since Toy Story 3.
7. The Last Stand- Another guilty pleasure. Whether it is Arnold on the big screen or just the sheer violence, I really liked it.
6. Pacific Rim- Destruction! 12 year old me just fainted.
5. Iron Man 3- Not the best Iron Man but not the worst either.
4. This is the End- Honestly I laughed harder here then in The World's End.
3.Man of Steel-A fitting Superman film.
2. The World's End- The funniest movie of the summer, but not as laughable as This is the End. It still provides an interesting look at the human race.
1. Star Trek Into Darkness- I'm not a Trekkie so I loved this film. Saw it twice!

Cornetto Trilogy Review including the newly released, The World's End!
In honor of the end of the Cornetto Trilogy, maybe, I decided to review all of the installments starting with Shaun of the Dead and ending with The World's End. Feel free to comment anonymously after the review.
Shaun of the Dead- The revival of both the horror comedy and modern zombie film, Shaun of the Dead is a great film. The central performances by Nick Frost and Simon were hilarious and complex at the same time. The twisted man behind the trilogy Edgar Wright is a genius for coming up with all of these ideas especially this film. The comedy is superb and it's hard sometimes to distinguish between the horror and comedy. The directing style of Wright adds to this film for his original quick camera turns. Shaun of the Dead receives a 10/10 for me.
Hot Fuzz- The least liked of the trilogy is still as good and as dark, but without the surprise of the first film Shaun of the Dead. The fact about this film is it is a guilty pleasure of mine. I love watching the large battle at the end between the old and the young town citizens. The conspiracy worked as good and kept you on top of your toes. Being not as revolutionary as it's predecessor it still provides a great laugh when needed. It works just fine fitting into the trilogy. 9/10
The World's End- It's a mix of it's predecessors. The old town setting mixed with the invaders and multiple drinking spots. Despite being a mix, it still holds lots of originality. It is probably the second funniest behind the start of the trilogy, Shaun, but it still provides the right amount of horror, action, comedy, references, Sci Fy, romantic and heartwarming moments in this large scale two hour film. It is a fitting end to the Cornetto Trilogy. 10/10
Although it is hard to choose between the favorite, the trilogy is one of my favorites of all time. What do you think of the trilogy?Comment below and follow me on this blog, Blogbuster411, http://blogbuster411.blogspot.com/. Bookmark this page for more. The World's End is in theaters right now! Throwback Tuesday: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Review
A classic Western that delivers perfectly and falls very short of a masterpiece. One of the better spaghetti westerns out there The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is about three selfish men fighting for a giant piece of a prize. If only they can find the exact location. They each know something to locate this grave, and without help it is unknown where it is. This is genius! This created great conflict between the characters which is always great. Eastwood's signature role provides both entertainment and a little bit of smartness to the film. The film may start off slow, but it quickly begins to speed up and doesn't stop until ten minutes before the end of the film where you will experience the longest and most well scored film gunfight. Another element in which the film was the score. The music is classic. Performances are also key and the movie certainly delivered with all three main cast members succeeding in that. Although there are a few flaws in the pacing and predictability it still manages to be a great piece in cinema that redefined the western genre.
The Verdict: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly may be paced a little slow, it still is entertaining, action packed, and well scored. Marked by the performances of Eastwood, Wallach and Van Cleef it is a masterpiece in American cinema. 9/10
+The end gunfight!
+/- A little predictable
-Pacing was off in the beginning
+Music is well scored
+The directing and writing were very well done.
+Tense atmosphere with Civil War background
+Entertaining and funny
+The action is great.
+The plot is intriguing.

OMG Guardians Footage leaked from Comic Con and D23! Review
Now I expect after a few days online, a long time for a leaked trailer, The Guardians of Galaxy trailer will be taken off soon, but before that happened I watched the leaked footage 10 times. The footage may in fact be embraced by the And I'm going to review it for you guys or at least give my opinion: So first off, Oh my God! Although it is only 30 seconds long it still packs a punch. I wasn't that concerned like most people but now I'm more excited then ever for this movie! It starts with a quinjet flying away and then non stop action until the end. At the end the final joke made it even more awesome. The characters and effects were really good for only about a months worth of footage. Although we didn't see much of Gamora other then two scenes in the trailer she looked really good. I couldn't help noticing that adding to the comedy feel is the song from Reservoir Dogs, Hooked on a Feeling by the Blue Swedes. Overall this movie is going to be action packed, funny, and a good time! A+ If you get a chance look it up.

Trailer Review: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Official Theatrical Trailer (2013) HD
Because I have read two and a half of these books and this is my favorite I'm so excited. The visuals don't lack in this one and the plot seems to have gotten darker. With most teen films it doesn't, but here you have an example of government vs. the people. Not much else to say but A.

Chris Evans is back! I loved him in the Avengers and when I read the synopsis back in May of last year I was super excited. Post Apocalyptic is one of my favorite genres. Snowpiercer has released some other trailers but I found this one showed the most. Although only 47 seconds it reveals people on a train run by the government don't know the outside world is experiencing the second Ice Age. The trailer is dark, gritty, and action packed. It also includes great visuals when shown form the outside. This is good, but I want more. C+

The 1970's project by Silver Lining Playbook director David O. Russell, is awesome. Although the trailer is for the most part sex and cheating(sexually and through cash) it still manages to intrigue the viewer with well shot film and a mystery plot. Trailer Review: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty Official Trailer #1 (2013) - Ben Stiller...
Ben Stiller's first Oscar? I admit that I love Ben Stiller's comedy, but this looks way above that. I think Stiller is trying to break out and be in more dramas, which I want him to succeed at. However this is the big hump he needs to get over in order to do that. The trailer was great, it only had two lines of dialogue from Stiller and didn't really give away the full plot or movie away. However, I didn't love that they had huge special effects in this movie. For example the jumping window scene looked cool, but fake. That is my only complaint so I guess I'd give it a A. A is for, A definite must see.

Trailer Review: 47 Ronin Official Trailer #1 (2013) - Keanu Reeves, Rinko Kikuchi Movie HD
This trailer disappointed me, when I read the plot it sounded great, but now it looks like a modern day mix of Japan with the old days. The graphics and scenery are great, don't get me wrong about that, but I wanted it to be story then action. Although the action was bad ass it didn't all fit in with my idea of the film. Overall it was a good trailer, but it came off different from what I was expecting and I'll decide later on whether to see it in theaters. C+

The 12th Doctor is Peter Capaldi!
Undoubtedly one of the greatest roles ever in television is going to "the Thick of it" star Peter Capaldi. I have not seen much of his work other then his very small role in World War Z as the W.H.O. Doctor, get it, but my first impression is this guy can act. He also looks great in the suit and most likely will also provide the excellent comedy the Doctor needs. Despite his age of 55 this is the right choice because he's not as young as Smith but is not too old as Hartnell. This is an odd choice considering that there seemed to be a relationship between the Doctor and Clara in the last episodes of Series 7, but Capaldi is older then I expected the Doctor. Unfortunately my pick for Idris Elba for 12 was not picked, but I believe Capaldi will fill his shoes just fine. I have a feeling in my stomach that Series 8 will be light and dark compared to Capaldi's other acting jobs. Hopefully he will be the best Doctor ever!

Trailer Review: Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa Official Trailer #1 (2013) - Jackass Movie HD
After the death of one of the Jackass members, Johnny Knoxville said he wanted more. He is now spinning off one of his characters. Originally I had low expectations for the movie because it wouldn't feature anyone else, but I have to say I laughed so much. The stupidity and hilarity of his character and his fake kid is just great. This does seem to be real reactions that may have gotten him in trouble which is great as well. I am so excited for this definitely seeing it is just a matter of when.

Top 10 # 4: TV and Movie Speeches
(Highlight last 8 speeches to read) Speech! Speech!I started thinking after seeing, the Doctor Who episode, Rings of Akhaten, I thought about the best fictional TV and movie speeches ever made and acted. I have comprised my list into the top ten speeches of all time:
Topping the list is, of course is:
10. (tie) The Rings of Akhaten speech(Doctor Who)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irpmtTbvXwM "Wake Up" Song in the background.- Okay, that's what I'll do, I will tell you a story. Can you hear them? All these people who lived in terror of you and your judgement. All these people whose ancestors devoted themselves, sacrificed themselves to you. Can you hear them singing? Oh you like to think you're a god, but you're not a god, you're just a parasite, eat now, with jealousy and envy, and longing for the lives of others, you feed on them,on the memory of love, and loss and birth and death and joy and sorrow. So, so, come on then, take mine, take my memories. And I hope you've got a big appetite, because I have lived a long life and I have seen a few things. I walked away from the last great Time War, I marked the passing of the Time Lords, I saw the birth of the universe and I watched as time ran out. Moment by moment until nothing remained, no time, no space, just me! I walked in universes where the laws of physics weren't devised by the mind of a mad man. And I watched universes freeze and creations burn. I have seen things you wouldn't believe, I have lost things you will never understand. And I know things, secrets that must never be told, knowledge that must never be spoken, knowledge that will make parasite gods blaze. So, come on then, take it, take it all, baby!!! Have it, you have it all!!!-Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor
10.(tie) The Pandorica Opens(Doctor Who)-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xjnht1k8M7w#at=47- Hello Stonehenge! Who takes the Pandorica, takes the universe ,but bad news everyone, cause guess who. Ha. Listen you lot you're all whizzing about. It's really very distracting. Could you all just stay still for just a minute because I am talking! Now the question of the hour is: Who's got the Pandorica? Answer: I do. Next question: Who's coming to take it from me? Come on! Look at me! No plan, no backup, no weapons worth a damn! Oh, and something else I don't have anything to lose. So if you're sitting up there in your silly little spaceships with all your silly little guns and you've got any plans on taking the Pandorica, tonight. Just remember who's standing in your way. Remember every black day I ever stopped you. And then, and then, do the smart thing. Let somebody else try first.-Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor
8. Armageddon- 14 Brave Souls speech- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_sUlupV48I-I address you tonight not as the President of the United States, not as the leader of a country, but as a citizen of humanity. We are faced with the very gravest of challenges. The Bible calls this day "Armageddon"-the end of all things. And yet, for the first time in the history of the planet, a species has the technology to prevent its own extinction. All of you praying with us need to know that everything that can be done to prevent this disaster is being called into service. The human thirst for excellence, knowledge, every step up the ladder of science, every adventurous reach into space, all of our combined modern technologies and imaginations, even the wars that we've fought have provided us the tools to wage this terrible battle. Through all the chaos that is our history, through all of the wrongs and the discord, through all of the pain and suffering, through all of our times, there is one thing that has nourished our souls, and elevated our species above its origins, and that is our courage. The dreams of an entire planet are focused tonight on those fourteen brave souls traveling into the heavens. And may we all, citizens the world over, see these events through. God speed, and good luck to you.- Stanley Anderson as the President
7. Animal House- Bluto's inspirational speech- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7vtWB4owdE-
Bluto: Christ! Seven years of college down the drain. Might as well join the fucking peace corps!
- Andy: My wife used to say I'm a hard man to know. Like a closed book. Complained about it all the time. She was beautiful. God, I loved her. I just didn't know how to show it, that's all. [pause] I killed her Red. I didn't pull the trigger. But I drove her away. That's why she died, because of me. The way I am.
- Red: [pause] That don't make you a murderer. A bad husband, maybe. Feel bad about it if you want to, but you didn't pull the trigger.
- Andy: No, I didn't. Somebody else did. And I wound up in here. [laughs] Bad luck, I guess.
- Red: [sighs] Yeah
- Andy: It floats around. It's got to land on somebody. It was my turn, that's all. I was in the path of the tornado. [sighs] I just didn't expect the storm would last as long as it has.
- Red:You think you'll ever get out of here?
- Red: I don't think you ought to be doing this to yourself, Andy. This is just shitty pipedreams. I mean, Mexico is way the hell down there and you're in here, and that's the way it is.
- Andy: Yeah, right. That's the way it is. It's down there and I'm in here. I guess it comes down to a simple choice, really. Get busy livin' or get busy dyin'.
- Rehabilitation Officer: Ellis Boyd Redding: your file says you've served 40 years of a life sentence. Do you feel you've been rehabilitated?
- Red: Rehabilitated?... Well, now, let me see. You know, I don't have any idea what that means.
- Rehabilitation Officer: Well, it means that you're ready to rejoin society, to—
- Red: I know what you think it means, sonny. To me it's just a made-up word. A politician's word, so that young fellas like yourself can wear a suit and a tie and have a job. What do you really wanna know? Am I sorry for what I did?
- Rehabilitation Officer: Well, are you?
- Red: There's not a day goes by that I don't feel regret. Not because I'm in here, or because you think I should. I look back on the way I was then: a young, stupid kid who committed that terrible crime. I want to talk to him. I want to try to talk some sense to him, tell him the way things are. But I can't. That kid's long gone and this old man is all that's left. I gotta live with that. Rehabilitated? It's just a bullshit word. So go ahead and stamp your forms, sonny, and stop wasting my time. Because to tell you the truth, I don't give a shit.-Tim Robbins as Andy, and Morgan Freeman as Red
- [Frodo attacks Sam with his sword]
- Samwise Gamgee: It's me. It's your Sam. Don't you know your Sam?
- [Frodo snaps out of the spell, horrified, and drops his sword]
- Frodo Baggins: I can't do this, Sam.
- Samwise Gamgee: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo; the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end... because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was, when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.
- Frodo Baggins: What are we holding on to, Sam?
- Samwise Gamgee: That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it's worth fighting for.
- Samwise Gamgee: I wonder if we'll ever be put into songs or tales.
- Frodo Baggins: What?
- Samwise Gamgee: I wonder if people will ever say, "Let's hear about Frodo and the Ring," and they'll say, "Yes, that's one of my favorite stories." "Frodo was really courageous, wasn't he, Dad?" "Yes, my boy, the most famousest of Hobbits. And that's saying a lot."
- Frodo Baggins: You left out one of the chief characters: Samwise the Brave. I want to hear more about Sam. [Frodo stops walking and turns around to face Sam] Frodo wouldn't have got far without Sam.
- Samwise Gamgee: Now Mr. Frodo, you shouldn't make fun. I was being serious.
- Frodo Baggins: So was I. [walks ahead]
- Samwise Gamgee: [to himself] Samwise the Brave.- Sean Astin as Samwise Gamgee and Elijah Wood as Frodo
- [to Pumpkin, who Jules calls 'Ringo'] I'm givin' you that money so I don't have to kill your ass. You read the Bible, Ringo? Well, there's this passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee." I been saying that shit for years. And if you heard it, that meant your ass. I never gave much thought to what it meant. I just thought it was some cold-blooded shit to say to a motherfucker before I popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this morning made me think twice. See, now I'm thinking, maybe it means you're the evil man, and I'm the righteous man, and Mr. 9 millimeter here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could mean you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is, you're the weak, and I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.-Samuel L Jackson as Jules Winnfield
- "Remember us." As simple an order as a king can give. "Remember us why we died." For he didn't wish tribute or song. No monuments, no poems of war and valour. His wish was simple: "Remember us," he said to me. That was his hope. Should any free soul come across that place, in all the countless centuries yet to be, may all our voices whisper to you from the ageless stones: Go tell the Spartans, passer-by, that here, by Spartan law, we lie. So my king died and my brothers died... Barely a year ago, long I pondered my king's cryptic talk of victory; time has proven him wise. But from free Greek to free Greek, the word was spread that bold Leonidas and his 300, so far from home, laid down their lives, not just for Sparta, but for all Greece and the promise this country holds. Now, here on this ragged patch of earth called Plataea, Xerxes' hordes face obliteration! Just there the barbarians huddle, sheer terror gripping tight their hearts with icy fingers, knowing full well what merciless horrors they suffered at the swords and spears of 300. Yet they stare now across the plain at 10,000 Spartans commanding 30,000 free Greeks! [Faces the army] Haroo! The enemy outnumber us a paltry three to one; good odds for any Greek. This day we rescue a world from mysticism and tyranny, and usher in a future brighter than anything we could imagine. Give thanks, men! To Leonidas, and the brave 300! To victory! David Wenham as Dilios
- Stephen: The Almighty says this must be a fashionable fight. It's drawn the finest people.
- Lochlan: Where is thy salute?
- William: For presenting yourselves on this battlefield, I give you thanks.
- Lochlan: This is our army. To join it you give homage.
- William Wallace: I give homage to Scotland. And if this is your army, why does it go?
- Veteran: We didn't come here to fight for them.
- Young Soldier: Home! The English are too many!
- William Wallace: Sons of Scotland! I am William Wallace.
- Young Soldier: William Wallace is seven feet tall!
- William Wallace: Yes, I've heard. Kills men by the hundreds. And if he were here, he'd consume the English with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse. [the Scots laugh] I am William Wallace! And I see a whole army of my country men here in defiance of tyranny. You've come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight?
- Veteran: Fight? Against that? No, we will run. And we will live.
- William Wallace: Aye. Fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM! Alba gu brà th!-Mel Gibson as Sir William Wallace
- Good morning. [turns on mic] Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world, and you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind. That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom. Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution… but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice: We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!-Bill Pulman as President Thomas Whitmore

Doctor Who Series 7 review and 50th/8th series speculation (Major Spoilers!)
I'm gonna start by saying if it weren't for a few episodes this season I would say this was the weakest of Doctor Who yet. But I consider Series 2 to be the weakest so. Let's get on with the review! So the season started off okay with the Christmas special, which I had no precise care for. I liked the chemistry as well as the mystery about the husband. However after I was surprised to find that Amy and Rory had split. The Asylum of the Daleks pretty much changes a lot because the Doctor is now unknown to them. Other then these two episodes it went a little downhill. Dinosaurs on a Spaceship and Power of Three failed despite the potential. A Town Called Mercy I liked but many audience members didn't. Angels take Manhattan was a fitting end to the Amy and Rory story, it saddened me but I felt life had to go on. As for Part 2 and the second Christmas special, (which I binged watched today) they were good. The best by far being The Name of the Doctor, Cold War,and Hide. The other episodes fell short, but many had great moments leading to the escalated finale and lead up to the 50th. This means Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS. Others fell flat but I loved the speech during The Rings of Akhaten which made me cry and the wonder in The Bells of Saint John. The two other episodes Nightmare in Silver and Crimson Horror were just okay, Crimson Horror being my favorite of them. There were more flaws then previous seasons but it all ended up adding to the 50 year question, Doctor Who?
The Verdict: Series 7 provided a great season(I consider all Doctor Who episodes to be great) with many twists and turns included in mainly The Name of the Doctor, The Angels Take Manhattan, and Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS. 8/10
Speculation for Series 8(including Christmas Special) and the 50th Anniversary special: Although everybody is speculating, and I mean everyone, on the upcoming season and anniversary of the 50 year old TV series, no one is doing it right. Many are just talking about the 12th doctor. But I will speculate about all of it. It's hard to predict Moffet's writing because of his many unexpected endings, but it is not impossible. I predict 10 things for all of the episodes to come meaning Series 8, 50th anniversary, and the 2013 Christmas special:
10. Clara will sleep with the Doctor(Clara may conceive)- The real Doctor's daughter, unless women character.
9. David Tennant will be from the other universe, not the past-I hate to say it but it will only be a shock to Rose.
8. Matt Smith will get hit by a Dalek laser and regenerate- Just like what 10 almost died from.
7. John Hurt's character will redeem himself-Doctor will become 13 instead of 12
6. There will be two parters-Nuff said
5. A big episode is coming- maybe the return of the Master or the Time Lords
4. The Doctor will become darker-The effects of Christmas will change him
3. Clara will die at seasons end- Come on, she has chemistry with this Doctor, but maybe not the next
2. The new Doctor will be black, ginger or a girl-It's been teased by Moffet, plus we need a change
1. The new series will feature old friends-Captain Jack, Mickey and Martha may return

Lionsgate Panel
At the smallest movie panel last Saturday, the newly major studio branded company released a new trailer for both I, Frankenstein and Catching Fire. Only the Catching Fire trailer is available online. However, since the company is just getting larger the news was low profile compared to everything else. So technically that's it. That concludes my comic con 2013 coverage(mostly). Legendary and Warner Bros. panels
After the announcement of the World's Finest movie Warner Bros. and Legendary had a great panel. They showed the upcoming Tom Cruise film, Edge of Tomorrow, which is a Source Code type movie. The plot is a soldier keeps on dying in the battlefield and then returns to the point in time where he was to somehow learn something. I liked Source Code and I bet I'd like this. The two also announced new cast members for the Lego Movie, Jonah Hill as Green Lantern, Colbie Smulders as Wonder Woman and now confirmed Superman is portrayed by Channing Tatum. Two other talents were announced without specific roles, Community's Alison Brie, and Always Sunny alum Charlie Day. More footage was shown for their three major upcoming projects, Godzilla, 300: Rise of an Empire, and Seventh Son. Each got applause the most being Godzilla. At the panel they showed the first look at the monster and even more secrets. The journalists inside reported that there may in fact be two monsters(possibly Mothra). And finally they announced that the (World of)Warcraft movie is moving along with director Duncan Jones. At the panel they showed concept photos and footage. Like Guardians of the Galaxy they announced it would be a Fantasy Space Western Comedy. From what I've heard it was great footage.

20th Century Fox panel
At the beginning of the panel they introduced Dawn of the Planet of the Apes a sequel to the 2011 film Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The early footage showed less apes then humans because of the time it takes to make this effect. What I've heard is the footage was good, but as you would expect showed little. Next was Wolverine, which was released yesterday. They showed footage in 3D and 2D which showcased major parts of the film. The crowd cheered, but they were really waiting for what was next, X-Men Days of Future Past. They showed footage of the Oval Office action and they revealed that Wolverine would indeed be the time traveler instead of Kitty Pryde. From what I've heard this was the most exciting news other then Avengers:Age of Ultron, and Batman VS. Superman. Apes Viral website:http://www.simianflu.com/us/#!/the-simian-flu-and-you

I, Frankenstein
The motion poster for the upcoming action thriller was released and it looks pretty awesome. The story takes place in the modern world. The upcoming release about Frankenstein looked deeper into the life of Frankenstein and his search for his purpose, after, as you all probably know his creator's death. I love this idea and the cast is epic, but I'm not a huge fan of late winter releases(ie January and February). This shows less confidence in Hollywood's properties. Anyway the motion poster looks great and supernatural which shows a darker life of the new fad. I will say that the title and synopsis is enough to make me see this in theaters next January.

Hollywood Game Night Episode 3 Review "Saturday Night Reunion"
Like the first two episodes of Hollywood Game Night, this entertains. The stars in this episode got a little more drunk, and a little more funny. Some couldn't figure out the games, but as far as Sudekis was concerned, he rocked even though hammered. I love this show and will keep watching this summer it is a must-watch for any TV guru. Nothing was wrong with this episode at all.
The Verdict: Hollywood Game Night doesn't stumble, it only gets better.10/10
+ Jane Lynch is getting better
+ The Games
+ Funny Alcohol bits
+ Fun playing at home

5 reasons why 2012's Battleship is stupid but entertaining
I recently viewed 2012's Battleship upon hearing of it being terrible. It wasn't as terrible then how people said it was, but it was still bad. Don't get me wrong the movie was very, very, entertaining, but it is definitely not one you should watch seriously. These are 5 reasons why it is so stupid but entertaining:
5. Brooklyn Decker is hot- Enough said.
4. The Aliens- Okay these squid, monkey, lizard, humanoids are weird and stupid for coming to earth with their sunlight weakness.
3. The Destruction- Who doesn't like a huge disaster movie?
2. The Veterans- I'm not sure if these guys have all their smarts left, but they sure can lift an 1000 pound bomb.
1. 2 of the best F-bomb covers in a PG-13 movie- Mahalo Motherf*ckers, Let's drop some lead on these motherf*ckers.
Although Battleship had lots of flaws it still is entertaining, I would recommend you watch this on a rainy day.

Family Guy Season 12 and 13 news!
The Family Guy 2013 comic con panel hit the jackpot in TV news. After announcing the Simpsons Guy crossover many fans anticipated last Saturday's panel for more news. But they got more then they asked for. First of all Cleveland will be moving back to Quahog in an episode titled "I'm Black". I am super excited for this because of the Cleveland show characters mixing with all of Quahog. Other announcements include a death of a Griffin family member. This surprises me because a commentary on one of the DVD's said any other deaths would be permanent. That means it won't be another Stewie Kills Lois, Lois Kills Stewie. My bets are on Meg, Chris,or Brian. Meg because Mila Kunis is moving on plus no one likes Meg in the Griffin family. Chris because Seth Green is also moving on and he is the least cared for character in the show. As for Brian, since MacFarlane voices most of the characters he may need a little bit of the load taken off because of his movie career taking off, in addition Brian is an old dog that could be replaced. Yes, another new member will take the place of one of the six members of the famous sitcom family. This could mean something fresh for the aging TV series. In other news new guest spots and episodes have been announced. this year's voice cast includes Adam Levine, Bryan Cranston, and Jeff Daniels. Story lines will follow Quagmire and Peter in a folk duo, Grimm fairy tales parody, and Peter finds his twin. The final announcement made was that my assumption of the hour long special in season 13's episode The Simpsons Guy, may be correct, the chicken fight may happen for at least five minutes including Homer, Peter, and the Chicken(Somehow). That's it for this panel.

Simpsons-Futurama crossover(s)?
After Futurama's cancellation this year, Matt Groening, creator of the Simpsons and Futurama announced there may be multiple crossovers between the two shows at comic con last week. The crossovers would have to do with time travel as well as some dimension hopping. This could be great fun, but honestly I like the Family Guy-Simpsons crossover idea better. This does open it up for more opportunities for the Simpsons as well. The Simpsons could mistakenly travel to the year 3000 get stuck there in future Springfield.

RED 2 review (Spoilers!)
Recently I visited the nearest movie theater to see this sequel that wasn't needed but made the franchise so much better. Despite not having Morgan Freeman in the sequel RED 2 still entertains with great villains and more familiar faces such as Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Lee Byung-hun. Although having many plot holes you tend to not care, because you are just entertained. The action is better then the first, because of the larger budget, in which more CG work was used for the helicopter crash and truck crash. It capitalized on the larger parts of the first film adding some references from it's predecessor. The comedic timing was probably the best part of the film. Every joke got at least one laugh from the audience.
The Verdict: Although RED 2 suffers from many plot holes and originality issues, the careless action sequences and great comedy carries you through the movie entertained and thoroughly satisfied. 7/10

Axe Cop premiere review
(No picture because done by mobile)
The ADHD preview was terrible! I hated it, although it aimed for an adult audience this show is best for kids. There weren't any morals, no good comedy, but there was one thing, violence. Although it is TV-14 I'm not sure why, the violence wasn't gory and there was no language. This is best meant for stoners. The script was terrible, and in 15 minutes gave me only one laugh. An absolute failure and please do not waste your time with this.
The Verdict: Axe Cop and ADHD are a complete waste of time. 0.5/10
+ One laugh in an alien interrogation scene
- Terrible script
- Not funny or violent,no moral as well
- The worst show on television
- No story
- Stoners will watch this, waste of Nick Offerman

(Bonus Video Game) Marvel Lego Superheroes!
I know this is not movie, comic or television new,but I love the Lego games. And when Marvel gets a first time Lego game it's kinda a big deal. A poster made from the games many screenshots. I am a huge Marvel fan and this is awesome. Gameplay from the video game was shown on IGN. It had many characters, some that I've only heard of, not seen. It even included creator Stan Lee with all of the powers of his characters with him voicing as well.

Marvel Panel explodes at Comic Con!
After Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox's panels Marvel took center stage and tried to top that. And they did! At the panel they showed footage from all their films including a teaser for the now buzzing title, Avengers: Age of Ultron. When I refreshed my live browser and blog from First Showing.com I immediately jumped for joy. This title tells the ultimate and leads us to believe that they will add more characters then just Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Yes, now it seems Ant-Man aka Hank Pym creator of Ultron(who could be played or voiced by Vin Diesel) will be involved in Avengers before his film. This also opens the wings for the character Wasp aka Janet Van Dye his girlfriend and partner in crime solving. Marvel you got us, originally believed to be Thanos it is now apparent that the villain will be Ultron instead. It is now believed that the villain Thanos will be in Guardians of the Galaxy instead because they are an easier enemy then the Avengers and Ultron was revealed for A2. As far as that goes couldn't be happier! Other panel news is footage was shown form every other phase two movie with Guardians of the Galaxy(only 10-14 days into filming) getting the largest applause. The footage showed action scenes with all the characters as well as Star Lord dialogue only scenes. As far as the other two films Captain America showed off the Helicarrier crash and more fight scenes with Falcon, Robert Redford and himself. The Thor two footage got the most applause at the end and beginning when Loki(Tom Hiddleston) appeared in full costume and character and Loki punched Thor against his hammer hand. Overall Marvel preformed great and I wish to see the footage soon.

News!
News is coming so much I can't keep up! Later tomorrow it will all be shown.
Batman-Superman team up movie! Plus two more films for DC
Breaking news from comic con! Warner Bros. and Legendary have released information on the next DC movie. Since Superman is such a hit with audiences they have announced a Superman-Batman team up movie. Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman and an unknown actor will cast as Batman. As far as villain goes most predict Lex Luthor. Goyer and Snyder will return for the new film as well. It is set to follow Man of steel for a 2015 release. Two other movies are expected to be announced for DC as well, a 2016 Flash movie and a follow up to it in 2017, Justice League. No casting announcements have been made. I am so excited on this subject Superman and Batman cause destruction and mayhem and then most likely take down a common foe, wow! As for Flash, yes, Justice League, no, take the Marvel formula. The characters are harder to introduce I know but they must do it. People may not like the character if they don't know them.
